The Impact of Specialized Operating Room Nursing Model on Patients withLimbFracturesandDiabetes

YEDan，SUNYing，LINGLujie OperatingRoom，Taizhou ThirdPeople'sHospital，Taizhou2253Oo，Jiangsu，China [Abstract] Objective To analyze the impact of specialized operating room nursing model on patients with limb fracturesanddiabetes.MethodsFromJanuary 2O23toJune2O25，108 patients withlimb fracturesand diabetes inthe Taizhou ThirdPeople's Hospital were selected as theresearch subjects.From January 2O23 to June 2O25，108 patients with limb fracturesanddiabetes from theTaizhou Third People'sHospital were selectedas theresearch subjects.These108 patientswere divided into thecontrol group（54cases，receiving theconventionalsurgicalroomnursing model）andthe study group （54 cases，receiving the specialized surgical room nursing model），the grouping was based on thediference in nursing models.Theblood glucose levels，total incidence ofcomplications，and qualityof life werecompared between thetwo groups.Results Compared with the control group，the fasting plasma glucose and 2-hour postprandial plasma glucose levels before discharge inthe study group were lower，thequalityoflife score beforedischargewashigher，andthetotalincidenceofcomplications waslowe，thediferences werestatisticallsignificant （all P <0.05）.Conclusion The specialized operating room nursing model helps to reduce the blood glucose levels and totalincidenceofcomplications inpatients withlimb fractures anddiabetes，and improves thequalityoflifeof patients.
