Effect of Dapagliflozin Combined with Sitagliptin on the Therapeutic Effect of T2DM Patients with Hypertension

[Abstract] Objective To investigate theeficacyof dapagliflozin （DAPA）combinedwith sitagliptininpatients with type2diabetes melitus （T2DM）and hypertension.Methods A totalof78 patients with T2DMcomplicated withhypertensionadmited to Xiangcheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Zhangzhou Cityfrom August 2O02O to August 2025 were selected anddivided into two groups according tothe treatment plan，with39cases ineach group.Both groups received routine basic treatment.The control group was treated with DAPA，and the observation group was treated withsitagliptincombined withDAPA.The blood glucose，bloodlipid levelsandthe incidenceofadverse reactions werecompared betweenthe two groups.ResultsCompared with thecontrol group after treatment，the levelsof blood glucose indexes，low-density lipoproteincholesterol，triglycerideand total cholesterol inthe observationgroup werelower，and high-densitylipoproteincholesterol was higher，with statisticallysignificant diferences（all P <0.05）. Therewas no significant diference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups （ P >0.05）. Conclusion Sitagliptincombined with DAPAcan more effectively improve the blood glucose and blood lipid levels in patients with T2DM and hypertension，and has good safety.
