Regulatory Effects of Dulaglutide on Pancreatic Function and Serum AdipokinesinElderlyObeseDiabeticPatients

[Abstract]Objective Toanalyze theregulatory efectofdulaglutideon isletfunctionand serumadipokines in elderly obese diabetic patients.Methods From March2O22 to December2O24，87elderlypatients withobesediabetesmelitus wereselected fromthe DepartmentofOutpatientofJinan SixthRetired Cadres Sanatorium，ShandongProvincial MilitaryRegion.According to diffrent treatment schemes，they were divided into control group and observation group. 43 patients inthecontrol groupreceived hypoglycemicdrugsand insulin treatment，and44 patients intheobservation groupreceived dulaglutide treatmentonthe basis of thecontrolgroup.The blood glucose level，islet function，serum adipokines and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment，the levels of fasting blood glucose，2-hour postprandial blood glucose，fasting insulin，insulinresistance index and visfatin intheobservationgroupwere lower than thoseinthecontrol group，andthe levelofadiponectin was higher thanthatinthecontrol group，the differenceswere statistically significant （all P <0.05）.There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups P>0.05 ）.Conclusion Dulaglutide canimprove islet function，improve blood glucose control effect，reduce serum adipokines in elderly patients with obese diabetes，and has high safety.
