Clinical Application Value of Febuxostat Combined with Dapagliflozin in the Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy with Hyperuricemia

[Abstract]ObjectiveToanalyzetheclinicalapplication valueoffebuxostatcombined with dapagliflozin inthe treatmentof diabeticperipheral neuropathy with hyperuricemia.Methods110 patients with diabetic peripheralneuropathy andhyperuricemia admited to Ezhou Chengnan Hospital from January to August 2O25 wereconvenientlyselected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routinetreatment,and the study group was treated withdapagliflozinand febuxostatonthe basis of routine treatment.Theblood glucoselevel,renal function,neurological functionandadversereactions were comparedbetweenthe two groups.ResultsAfter treatment,the fasting blood glucose of the study group was (4.36±O.48)mmol/L, andthe 2-hour postprandial blood glucose was (5.53±0.61) mmol/L,which were lower than (6.38±0.32) mmol/L, (8.38±0.85)mmol/Lof thecontrol group,andthediferences were statistically significant (t=25.968,20.202;all P< (204号 0.05).Aftertreatment,the levels of serum creatinine,24-hoururine proteinandurea nitrogen inthe study group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P <0.05).After treatment, the levels of neuropeptide Yand homocysteine in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differenceswere statisticallysignificant (all P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups( P>0.05 ).Conclusion The combination of febuxostat and dapagliflozin in patients withdiabeticperipheral neuropathyand hyperuricemiacanreduce their blood glucose levels,improverenalfunction, improve neurological function, and can′t increase incidence of adverse drug reactions.
