The Therapeutic Effect of Ultrasonic Scaler Combined with Minocycline Hydrochloride inthe TreatmentofDiabeticPeriodontitis

Departmentof Stomatology，Dehua County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine，Quanzhou 3625oo，Fujian，China [Abstract]ObjectiveToexploretheclinical eficacyandsafetyofultrasonicscalercombinedwithminocyclinehydrochlorideinthetreatmentofdiabeticperiodontitis.MethodsAtotalof68 patientswithdiabetic periodontitisadmitted to DehuaCounty Hospitalof Traditional Chinese Medicine fromFebruary 2O23 toFebruary 2024 were conveniently selected and grouped according to different treatment methods，with 34 cases in each group.Thecontrol group was treatedwithanultrasonicscaler，whiletheobservationgroupreceivedadditional treatment withminocyclinehydrochloride.The periodontal conditions，masticatory functions and the incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups werecompared.Results After treatment，the periodontalconditionsandthe masticatory functionsof theobservation group were better than those of the control group，and the differences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）. The incidence of adversereactions intheobservationgroup washigher thanthecontrol group，but the diference was not statisticallysignificant（ P> 0.05）.Conclusion Ultrasonic scaler combined with minocycline hydrochloridein the treatment of diabetic periodontitiscansignificantly improve the periodontal condition and masticatory functionof patients， and has good safety.

糖尿病性牙周炎作为糖尿病常见口腔并发症，其发病与糖尿病引发的免疫紊乱、血管病变及牙周致病菌感染密切相关，临床以牙龈出血、探诊深度增加、咀嚼功能下降为典型表现，若未及时干预，不仅会加重牙周组织破坏，还可能影响糖尿病病情控制，形成“糖尿病-牙周炎"恶性循环，严重降低患者生活质量。（剩余4924字）
