Effect of Carbohydrate Restriction Diet Combined with Stage Exercise Intervention on Weight Gain and Blood Glucose Control in Patientswith GestationalDiabetesMellitus

[Abstract]ObjectiveTo explore theeffectofcarbohydrate（CHO）restrictiondietinterventioncombined withstage exercise intervention on patients with gestational diabetes melitus （GDM）.Methods Sixtypatients with GDMadmitted to Xingyi People's Hospitalof Guizhou Provincefrom March 2O22 to March 2O24 wereconvenientlyselected and dividedintocontrol group（ n =30）and the observation group （n=3O） according to different nursing methods.The control group was given routine intervention，and the observation group was given restriction CHO diet intervention combined with stage exercise intervention.The weight gain during pregnancy，blood glucose index，maternal and infantoutcomes were compared between thetwo groups.Results The weight gain and body mass index increase during pregnancy in the observation group were lowerthan those inthecontrol group，andthediferences were statisticallsignificant （all P <0.05）.Afterintervention，thelevelsof glycatedhemoglobinAlc，fasting blood glucoseand2-hour postprandial blood glucose in the two groups decreased，and those in the observation group were lower than the control group，the differences were statistically significant （all P<0.05 ）. The incidence of maternal adverse pregnancy outcomes and neonataladverseoutcomes in theobservationgroup were lowerthan those inthecontrol group，andthe diffrences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）.Conclusion Restriction CHO diet intervention combined with stage exercise intervention can beter control the weightgain and blood glucose indexofGDM patients，and improve the adverse pregnancy outcomes of mothers and infants.
