Effect of Yiqi Yangyin Decoction Combined with Metformin and Exercise Therapy on Glycated Albumin and Exercise Tolerance in Patients with DiabetesMellituswith Deficiency ofboth Qiand Yin

ZHU Shanyong， QIAN Hua， WANG Qinfang Departmentof Endocrinology，Taizhou SecondPeople'sHospital，Taizhou 2255oo，Jiangsu，China [Abstract]Objective To exploretheefectof Yiqi Yangyin Decoctioncombined with exercisetherapyon glycated albuminand exercise endurance in patients withdiabetes of Qi and Yin deficiency.Methods From January 2022 to December 2024，92 patients with diabetes of Qi and Yin deficiency typeadmited to Taizhou Second People's Hospital were convenientlyselectedas the researchobjects.According to the diference of treatment methods，they were divided into two groups，46 cases ineach group.Both groupsweretreated with exercise therapy.Onthis basis，the control group was treated with metformin.The observation group was treated with Yiqi Yangyin Decoction based on the control group.The blood glucose index，exercise enduranceand qualityof life of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment，thefasting blood glucose，2-hour postprandial blood glucoseand glycated albuminin theobservation group were beterthan those in the control group，and thediferences werestatisticallysignificant （all P< 0.05）.After treatment，the scores of exercise endurance and qualityof lifein the observation group were bettr than those in the control group，and the differences were statistically significant （all P<0.05 ）. Conclusion Yiqi Yangyin Decoctioncombined with exercise therapycan effctively improve the blood glucose index of diabetic patients withdeficiency of both qi and yin，improve the level of exercise endurance and improve the quality of life.
