Value of Evidence-based Nursing Intervention and Postoperative Healing in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Femoral Neck Fracture

Departmentof Orthopedics，the91Oth Hospital of the JointLogistic SupportForce，Quanzhou 3620o，Fujian，China [Abstract] Objective To analyze the value of evidence-based nursing intervention and postoperative healing in patients with diabetes melitus complicatedwith femoralneck fracture.Methods A totalof 8O patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with femoral neck fracture admited to the Department of Orthopedics，the 91Oth Hospital of the JointLogistic Support Force from January 2O23 to December 2024 were conveniently selected as the research objects. According to different nursing schemes，they were divided into observation groupand control group，with40 cases in each group.Thecontrol group was given routine nursing，while the observation group was given evidence-based nursing.The fracture related indexes，blood glucosecontrol，pain degreeandqualityoflife werecomparedbetweenthe two groups.Results The lengthof bedrest and hospitalization in theobservation group were shorter than those inthe control group，and the differences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）.After intervention，the fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose in the two groups decreased，and those in the observation group were lower than the control group，the differences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）. On the 3rd and 7th day after operation，the scores of Visual Analogue Scaleintheobservation group werelowerthan those inthecontrol group，and the differences were statistically significant （all P<0.05 ）.After intervention，the scores of each dimension of World Health Organization Qualityof Life in the two groups increased，and those intheobservation group were higherthan the control group，the differences were statistically significant （all P<0.05 ）.Conclusion Evidence-based nursing intervention forpatients with diabetes melituscomplicated with femoral neck fracture can effectively promote therehabilitationof patients，reduce blood glucose level and pain degree，and improve the quality of life.
