Analysis of Postpartum Safety Status and Influencing Factors in Patients withGestationalDiabetesMellitus

LINXu，LIUYingling，WANGBinli DepartmentofObstetricsand Gynecology，Fu'anHospital，Fu'an355OO1，Fujian，China [Abstract] Objective To explore the status and influencing factors of postpartum safety in patients with gestational diabetes melitus （GDM）.Methods A convenient sampling method was used to select 86 GDM patients and their spouseswho gavebirth intheDepartmentofObstetricsand GynecologyofFu'an Hospital from Januaryto May 2025 as the research subjects.Thegeneral informationquestionnaire，Parents’Postnatal Senseof Security （PPSS）and Perceived Social Support Scale （PSSS）were used to investigate them.Pearson corelation was used toanalyzethecorrelation between postpartum security in GDMpatients and their fathers′postpartumsecurity and PSSS.Multivariate analysis of postpartumsecurity in GDM patients was performed by multiple linear regression.ResultsA total of 8O valid questionnaires were collcted.The total PPSSscoreofGDM patientswas （41.58±3.06）points，and the average scoreof items was （2.31±O.17）points.Theresultsofunivariate analysis showed thatthere werestatisticallsignificantdiferences in PPSS scoresamong GDMpatients withdiffrentage，educationlevel，postpartum blod glucose control，neonatal premature delivery，neonatal malformation and neonatal blood glucose （all P<0.05 ）. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the postpartumsafetyof GDM patients was positively correlated with thefather's postpartum safety and the total score of PSSS （all P<0.05 ）. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that postpartum blood glucose control，father'spostpartumsafetyand PSSS total score were the influencing factorsof postpartumsafety in GDM patients （all P<0.05 ）. Conclusion The level of postpartum safety in GDM patients needs to be improved.Postpartum blood glucose control，father's postpartum safetyand perceived social support are the influencing factors.
