Study on the Impact Helicobacter Pylori Treatment on Glycolipid MetabolismIndicatorsin Patientswith Type2DiabetesMellitus

Endocrinology， ， 234OOo，Anhui，China [Abstract]Objective To evaluatethe effct Helicobacter pylori infectionon glucoseand lipid metabolism in type 2 diabetes melitus patientsandanalyzetherelatedrisk factors.MethodsA total167patients with type2diabetes mellitusadmitedto Anhui Province from January 2O24 to August 2025 were conveniently selected inthe study.According to theresults Hp monitoring，they were divided into Hp positivegroupand Hp negative group. Multivariate binary Logistic regresson analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting Hp infectioninpatientswithtype2diabetesmelltus.ResultsThere weresignificantdiferencesintotalcholesterol，triglyceride，lowdensitylipoproteincholesterol，fastingplasma glucose，glycated hemoglobinAlc （HbAlc），fasting isulin （FINS） and homeostatic model assessment insulin resistance （HOMA-IR） between Hp positive group and Hp negative group （all P <0.05）. Multivariate binary Logistic regression analysis showed that HbA1c ⩾ 7 % ， FINS ⩾ 15 U/L andHOMA-IR ≥2.5were risk factors for Hp infection in patients with type 2 diabetesmelitus （all P <0.05）. Conclusion Hp has adirect impacton the glycolipid metabolism indicators patients with type 2 diabetes melitus. Moreover， elevated HbA1c ⩾7% ），FINS ⩾ 15 U/L），and HOMA-IR （≥2.5） are risk factors for Hp infection in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus，and clinical management needs to be strengthened.
