Research Progress on the Remediation of Eutrophic Water by Ecological Floating Island

Abstract: Water eutrophication is a global water environmental problem,and eutrophic water often lead to algal blooms due to excessive nutrients,disrupting ecological balance.Ecologicalfloating island technology has becomea research hot spot in the field of water restoration due to its high eficiency and lowconsumption characteristics. By constructing ecological structures,ecological floating islands purify water bodies through the synergistic efects betwen organisms,including plantabsorption,microbial degradation,and physical adsorption.Ecologicalfloatingislands have broad application prospects in the remediation of eutrophic water,but further optimization of their design and management is still needed to achieve better ecological and economic benefits.
