Study on an Epoxy Resin System with High Glass-Transition Temperature and Proof Tracking

Abstract: Using diferent resin raw materials for two-component mixing as the epoxy resin base system,five resin formulations were prepared by adding curing agents and accelerators respectively.Starting from improving the glas transition temperature and resistance to electric leakage and tracing,the comprehensive performance of diffrent resin formulations is studied.Through experimental tests,aseries of formulas havebeen obtained with a resistance to electric leakage trace ⩾400V and a glass transition temperature ranging from 110-182.5∘C . Among them, the optimal formula can simultaneously meet the requirements of high glasstransition temperature and high resistance to leakage and tracking performance.
