Abstract:Againstthebackdropoftheprofoundadjustmentoftheglobalenergystructureandthe"doublecarbon”goals,the thermal powerindustryisfacingunprecedentedpressure tosaveenergyandreduceemisions.Asoneofthemainequipmentfor thermalpowergenerationinChina,theperformanceofitssuportingrotaryairpreheaterhasadecisiveimpactontheoeral energyeffciencyandenvironmentalprotectionleveloftheunit.Tradionalairpreheaterwiththre-layerheatstorageelemnts hasexposedmanyproblemssuch ashighresistance,seriousairleakage,andhighmaintenancecostsduring long-termoperation, makingitdificulttoadapttotheneedsofhigh-qualitydevelopmentoftheindustry.Thetechnicaltransformationoftheheat storageelementfromthreetotwolayershasbecomeanimportantpathtoimprovetheperformanceofairpreheatersandpromote costeductionandefciencyincreaseforthermalpowercompanies.Tus,thispaperbrieflyanalyzestheaplicationofreplacing three-layer heat storage elements with two-layer heat storage elements in 66O MW boiler air preheater.
