Abstract：Thecannedmotor pumpisakeyequipmentinthenuclearreactorsystem.Duetothelackofefective fault detectionmeans，thefaultisoftenonlyknownwhentheequipmentcannolongeroperate，whichseriouslythreatensthesafe operationofthenuclearreactor.Aimingatthecannedmotorpumpofthenuclearreactor，thispaperfirstanalyzesthestructural characteritcsandworking principleof thecanned motorpump.Onthisbasis，thetypicalfault modesofthecanedmotorpump areanalyzed，andthemethodofusing vibrationsensorsforfaultdetectionofthecannedmotorpumpisdetermined.The arragementofvibrationmeasuringpointsandtheindicatorsofvibrationsensorsarealsoanalyzedanddeteminedBasedonthe vibrationdetectionmethod，theoverallstructuraldesignsignalpreprocesingandacqusitiondesignandfaultfeatureextraction methodesignofthe faultdetectorarecariedout，andafaultdetectorforcanedmotorpumpsofnuclearreactorsis developed.Finaly，thetestandverificationarecarridoutthroughthetypicalfaultsimulationtestofthecannedmotorpump. Thedetectionresultsshowthatthedevelopedfaultdetectorforcannedmotorpumpsofnuclearreactorscanefectivelydetect and identify the typical faults of canned motor pumps.
