Abstract:Asacorepartofthepowergridsystem,substationengineringisakeypowerfacilitythatsupportsthe developmentof modernsocietyandeconomy.Thispapertakessubstationengineringastheresearchobjectanddeplydiscusses thekeyprinciplesandtechnicalmethodsofsiteselection.Throughempiricalanalysisandcasestudies,itisemphasizedthatsite selectionshouldfolowscientificprinciples,suchasbeingclosetotheloadcenter,consideringoutgoingconditionsand environmentalprotection,toensuretherationalityofsiteselection.Atthesametime,specificoperationmethodsareintroduced, suchason-sitesurvey,datacollctionandverticaldesign.Examplesshowthatthesiteselectionofsubstationprojectsustnot onlyfollwtheguidanceofbasicprinciples,comprehensivelyconsiderthelayoutofthepowergriddevelopmentplanningand harmoniouscoexistencewiththenaturalenvironment,butalsousethewisdomof technicalmethodstofullunderstandthekey factorsofthesiteselection,anduseadvancedscientificandtechnologicalmeanstoanalyzeandevaluatethesiteselectionplan toensurethescientificnatureandfeasibilityof thesiteselection plan.Thispapersummarizes thebasicprinciplesandpractical operationmethodsforsubstationsiteselectionLocationselectionforsubstationprojectsisnotonlyascience,butalsoanart.It requiresnotonlyfolowingcertainrules,butalsousingvariousskillflexibly.Atthesametime,itisproposedthatsubstation siteselectionstillneedstocontinuouslyexploreandinnovatesiteselectionmethodstopromotetheapplicationofcmputer technology and AI technology in substation project site selection.
