Analysis and energy-saving improvements of air temperature field in the aquaculture workshop in cold regions

Abstract:To study the efects of outdoor temperature and wind speed on the indoor air temperature field of the workshop and to reduce heat transfer through the wall,an aquaculture workshop in Dalian,a cold region in northern China during winter,was taken as the research object in this paper, and a steady一state numerical simulation model with gas-solid coupling was established using CFD. The investigation showed that the temperature field inside the workshop is more affected by the outdoor temperature than by the wind speed. The air temperature drop inside the workshop gradually increases as the outdoor temperature decreases,while decrease as the wind speed increases. Aerogel insulation material was sprayed onto the external walls of the workshop. A thickness of 5.8mm was determined as the optimal design thickness through a comprehensive consideration of both the thermal insulation performance and the economic costs. When the outside temperature is -5∘C and the wind speed is 9m/s ,the average internal temperature can be increased from 10.2∘C to 14.1°C a 38.2% rise. The research findings can provide a reference for temperature regulation in aquaculture workshops,helping the sector achieve high-performance and energy-efficient development.
