Selection of probiotics for Apostichopus japonicus cultivation ponds

Abstract:To screen probiotics beneficial to Apostichopus japonicus, this study took water samples from Apostichopus japonicus aquaculture ponds as the research object, and used nitrite degradation rate as indicators to screen probiotics from sea cucumber aquaculture ponds.The results showed that 32 nitrite一degrading bacteria were isolated. After 24h of culture in the medium containing 100mg/L sodium nitrite,the degradation rate of strain 2- N23 on sodium nitrite was 93.49% ,and that of strain 2- N21 was 90.83% . The results show that strains 2- N23 and 2-N21 exhibit promising potential for the degradation of sodium nitrite, providing candidate strains for the development and production of probiotics.
