[Abstract] Relevant research literature was retrieved through CNKIand Wanfang to integrate thecore connotationof the "turbidtoxicity"theoryand itsapplicationinthepathological mechanismand syndrome diffrentiationclassificationof obese type2diabetesmelitus （T2DM）.Thisarticle reviews theapplicationprogressand effctsof traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）nursing techniques in obese T2DM，including through syndrome diferentiation and nursing， the use of TCM conditioning，dietary and daily life care，emotional care，and TCM characteristic nursing techniques， with the principles of eliminating turbidityanddetoxifying，regulating internal organs，and balancing Yin andYang. Certain achievements have ben made incontrolling patients'blood glucose，improving symptoms，enhancing the qualityof lifeandpreventing complications.However，theapplicationof TCMnursing techniques stillfaceschallenges suchas technical standardization and personnel training. This article proposes corresponding countermeasures and summarizes the important role of TCM nursing techniques in obese T2DM and the future improvement directions，aiming to providereferences for clinical nursing，further improvethe TCM nursing plan，enhance the nursing level，and promote the recovery of patients.
