1.Departmentof Laboratory Medicine，Zhongshan Hospital Afiliated to Xiamen University，Xiamen 3610oo，Fujian， China;2.DepartmentofGeriatrics，ZhongshanHospitalAfiliatedtoXiamenUniversity，Xiamen36ooo，Fujian，Cina [Abstract] Objective To explore the efectiveness of urine protein （PRO）and urine microalbumin （UMA） in the examinationof diabetic nephropathy（DN）.Methods Thisstudyretrospectivelyselected the clinical data of15O patients with DN（observation group）admitted to Zhongshan Hospital Afiliated to Xiamen University from January 2022 to January2025and15O healthyindividualswhounderwent physical examinations during thesameperiod （control group）.Both groupsunderwentPRO，UMA，andfastingblood glucose tests.The test resultsof the two groups andthe diagnostic eficacyof diffrent testing methodswerecompared.Results Thelevelsof PRO，UMAandfastingblood glucoseinteobservation group wereall higherthan thoseinthecontrol group，andthediferences were statisticallsignificant （all P <0.05）.The accuracy，sensitivity，specificity， positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the combined detection of fasting blood glucose + PRO + UMAwereall higher than those of the singledetection of fasting blood glucose + PRO and fasting blood glucose + UMA，and the differences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）. Conclusion The valueofPROand UMA detection inDN testing is significant.Thecombined detectionofthetwo can provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
