Review of Research Advances on Abnormalities in the Adipose-islet Axis Signaling Pathway in Obesity-related Diabetes
LILibin,CAOengyu,LANGYiyao Beijing Tongzhou District Second Hospital,Beijing1O11O2, China [Abstract] Obesity-related diabetes,primarilytype2diabetes,exhibits arising incidencerateannuallyand hasbecome a significant challenge in global public health.Abnormalities in the adipose-pancreatic axis signaling pathway playapivotal role in theonsetand progressionof this disease.Thisreview examines thephysiologicalregulatory basis of theadipose-isletaxis,describes pathological alterations such asdysregulatedadipokinescretion,inflammatoryresponses,andoxidative stresstriggered byadipose tisse dysfunction in obesity,and analyzes the molecular mechanismsby which abnormalities in key signaling pathways of this axis induce pancreatic β -cell dysfunctionand insulin resistance.It summarizes recent experimental and clinical research advances while evaluating potential therapeutic strategies targeting theadipose-isletaxis.This review aims toprovide theoretical guidance for basicresearch and clinical interventionsin obesity-related diabetes.
