Analysis of Influencing Factors of Fear of Hypoglycemia in Diabetic Nephropathy Patients with Maintenance Hemodialysis and Related Nursing Intervention Measures

Department of Nephrology,Xingyi People's Hospital, Qianxinan 5624Oo,Guizhou,China [Abstract] Objective To analyze the status offear of hypoglycemia (FoH) in patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN) undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (MHD),and to explore the influencing factors andrelated nursing interventions.

Methods The clinical data of 122 DN patients who underwent MHD in Xingyi People's Hospital from June 2022 to January 2O25were retrospectively selected.TheFoH level was evaluated bythe Chinese Version Hypoglycemia Fear SurveyII(CHFSII).The general dataof the patients were colected, therisk factors affecting FoH in DN-MHD patients were analyzedby single factor and multiple linear regression analysis.Results The CHFS I score of 122 DNMHD patients was (43.27±5.68) points. Univariate analysis showed that the CHFS I scores of patients with hypoglycemiainthe past month,anxietyand insulin therapy werehigher than those of patients without hypoglycemia in the past month,anxiety and insulin therapy,and the differences were statistically significant (all P
