DepartmentofPsychiatry，Third People'sHospital of Tongling City，Tongling 244OOO，Anhui，China [Abstract]The purposeof thispaper is tosystematicallyreview theresearchprogressoftheetiologyand nursing of patients withdiabetesmelituscomplicatedwithdepressiondisorder.Intermsof etiology，itismainlyelaborated from 3dimensionsof physiology，psychologyandsociety：physiologically，neurobiochemicalandendocrinedisorderscaused bylong-term hyperglycemia form a vicious circle with depresion.In psychologically，disease cognitivebias，decreased self-efficacyandroleadaptationstress arethemaincauses.Insociety，economicburdenandinsufcientfamilysocialsupport increase theriskofcomorbidity.In termsof nursing intervention，an integratednursing systemwith psychological interventionas the core，diet and exercisemanagementas the basis，and health education and social support as the suppement has been formed.Psychological nursing methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy and supportive psychotherapy can efectively improve patients' emotions;individualized diet and exercise programs are helpful for blood glucose controlandemotionalregulation;systematic health education combined with multi-level social supportcan improve patients’self-management abilityandtreatmentcompliance.Inthefuture，itis necessaryto furthercarry out multidisciplinarycollaborative comprehensive intervention research to build a more systematic and long-term nursing model and improve the overall prognosis of patients.
