TheEffect of Goal-oriented Nursing Intervention on Self-care Ability of Patientswith Type2DiabetesMellitus

Department of Endocrinology，Quanzhou First Hospital， Quanzhou ，Fujian， China [Abstract] ObjectiveTo analyzethe efectof goal-oriented nursing interventionon patients with type2diabetes mellitus.Methods A totalof 110 patients with type2diabetes melitus admittedto Quanzhou First Hospital from January to November 2O24 wereconvenientlyselectedand divided into control group（55cases）and study group （55 cases）according to diferent nursing methods.The control group received routine nursing，and the study group received goaloriented nursing.Theblood glucose level，self-careabilityandqualityoflifeof thetwogroupsbeforeandafternursing werecompared.Results After nursing，compared with thecontrol group，the blood glucose level of the studygroup werelower，thequalityoflifeandself-careabilitywerehigher，andthediferences werestatisticallysignificant （all P< 0.05）. Conclusion The implementation of goal oriented nursing for patients with type 2 diabetes melitus can reduce theirblood glucose level，promote their self-care ability，and improve their quality of life.
