Application Value and Long-term Follow-up Study of Continuous Nursing in the Management of Diabetic Neuropathy

[Abstract]ObjectiveTo study thevalue ofcontinuous nursing inthemanagementof diabetic neuropathy.Methods A total of 54 patients with diabetic neuropathy admitted to QuanzhouFirst Hospital from May2O21to November 2024 were conveniently selected and divided intocontrol group （27cases，general nursing）andcontinuationgroup （27 cases，continuous nursing on the basis of general nursing）by diferent nursing methods.The nursing quality，selfmanagement behavior，sensory status，qualityoflife and satisfaction werecompared between the two groups.Results After nursing，thenursingqualityself-managementbehavior，sensorystatus，qualityoflifeand satisfactionof thecontinuation groupwere better than those of thecontrol group，and thediferences were statisticallysignificant （all P< 0.05）. Conclusion The application of continuous nursing in the management of diabetic neuropathy can improve the quality of nursing，standardize the self-management behavior of patients，optimize thesensory status，and improve their quality of lifeand satisfaction.
