The Effect of Strengthening Critical Value Response Nursing in the TreatmentofEmergencyDiabeticKetoacidosisPatients

HUANGLimei，CHENHuijuan，LINJinlian Department of Emergency，Xiamen Fifth Hospital，Xiamen 3611O1，Fujian，China [Abstract] Objective To study the efect of enhanced critical value response nursing in the treatment of emergency diabetic ketoacidosis.Methods A total of86 patients with emergency diabetic ketoacidosis who were treated in Xiamen Fifth Hospital from January to November 2O24 wereconveniently selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to diffrent nursing methods，with 43 cases in each group.Thecontrol group cooperated with routine care during emergency rescue，while the observation group implemented nursing intervention by strengthening theresponseto criticalvalues during emergencyrescue.The diffrences innursing satisfaction，complicationrate，time toreachthetargetblood glucoselevel，timetoreachthetargetblood ketonelevelandtimeforurine ketone to turn negative betweenthe two groups were compared.Results The nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation groupwas higher than that in the control group，and the diffrence was statistically significant （ P <0.05）. The incidence ofcomplications in theobservationgroup was lowerthanthatinthecontrol group，andthediference was statistically significant（ P <0.05）.The time for blood glucose to reach the standard，the time for blood ketone to reach the standardandthetime forurine ketone to turn negative in the observation group were allshorter than those in he control group，and the differences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）.Conclusion The application of enhanced critical value response nursinginthe treatmentofemergencydiabetic ketoacidosis patients can efectively improve the nursing satisfaction of patients，reduce the risk of related complications of patients，and promote therecoveryof patients.
