The Application Effect of 5A Nursing Mode under Dietary Nutrition Goal inPatientswith Type2DiabetesMellitus

Suining County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine，Xuzhou 2212Oo，Jiangsu， China [Abstract] Objective To analyze theapplication efect of 5A nursing mode guided by dietary nutrition goal in patientswith type2 diabetes mellitus （T2DM）.MethodsFrom February2024 to February 2025，120 patients with T2DM who were first diagnosed in Suining County Hospital of Traditional ChineseMedicine wereconveniently selectedas theobservationobjects，andweredivided intogroups according totherandomnumbertable method，with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given routine diet nursing mode，andthe observation group was given 5A nursing under the guidance of dietary nutrition goal.Subjective Global Assessment （SGA）results were compared between the two groups，the levelsof total protein （TP），prealbumin（PA），albumin（Alb），fasting plasma glucose （PG）， 2-hours postprandial plasma glucose （2 hPG）and glycated hemoglobin Alc （HbA1c） were measured，the changes of body mass index （BMI） were observed，and the incidence of diabetes-related complications in the two groups was countedinhalfayear.ResultsAfter intervention，thelevelsofTP，PAandAlbintheobservationgroup were higher thanthose in thecontrol group，the levels ofFPG，2 hPGand HbAlc were lowerthan those in the control group，and BMI was lower than that in the control group，the differences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）. After intervention，the numberof patients with good nutrition intheobservation groupwas more than thatin the control group，and the numberofpatients with mild，moderateandseveremalnutrition wasless thanthatinthecontrol group，thediferences were statistically significant （ P <0.05）.The total incidence of complications in half a year of the observation group was also lower than that of the control group，and the difference was statistically significant （ P <0.05）. Conclusion Carrying out5A nursing under theguidance of dietary nutrition goalfor T2DM patients can help to beter control the weight of patients，improve the nutritional level and have a better prognosis.
