Effect of Yiqi Jiangtang Decoction Combined with Modified Muli Powder inImprovingHyperhidrosisinDiabetesMellitus Patients

[Abstract]ObjectiveTo explore theclinical eficacyof Yiqi JiangtangDecoctioncombined withmodified Muli Powderinthe treatmentof diabetic hyperhidrosis.MethodsA totalof63 patients with diabetic hyperhidrosis admitted to Fuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Afiliated toFujian Universityof Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2O22 to January 2O23 wereenrolledanddivided intotwo groupsaccording todifferent treatmentregimens. The control group（32cases）was treated withconventional Western medicine，whiletheobservation group （31cases） was treated with Yiqi Jiangtang Decoctioncombined with modified Muli Powderonthe basisof conventional Western medicine.The traditional Chinesemedicine（TCM）syndrome scores，blood glucose levelsand incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment，the TCM syndrome scores of spontaneous sweating，nightsweating，palmoplantarfever，shortnessofbreath withlasitude，palpitationsand insomnia intheobservation group were lower than those in the control group，and the diferences were statistically significant（all P <0.05）. After treatment，the levelsoffasting blood glucose，2-hour postprandial blood glucoseand glycated hemoglobin Alc intheobservationgroup were lower than those in thecontrol group，and the diferences werestatisticallysignificant （all P <0.05）.There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups（ P>0.05 ）.Conclusion For patients with diabetic hyperhidrosis，the treatment of Yiqi Jiangtang Decoction combined with modified MuliPowderyieldssatisfactoryclinical eficacy.Itcan notonlyeffectivelyalleviateclinical symptoms，but also reduce blood glucose levels，with good safety profile.
