Abstract: Inthe process ofthe diversified development of art,the freehand landscape paintingofChinese paintingand the colorof Western Impressionist landscapeoil paintingasartistic expression styles under differentculturalbackgrounds,have received extensive atention.Freehandlandscapepainting emphasizes thecreationof interestandatisticconception,hoping to pursue themutual integrationofthesoulandnature,while thecolorofImpressionistlndscapeoilpaintingpays greatattention tothecaptureoflightandshadowandtheexpresionofcolor.Trytorestorethevividscenesofnature.Althoughthetwodiffer intermsoftools,techniquesandculturalrots,theysharecommonaliesinaspectssuchastheobservationandpresentationof natureand thetransmissionofemotions.Bothatempttobreakthrough traditionalimitationsandpresentheirperceptioof the World throughuniquelanguagemethods.Thisarticleaims todeeplyanalyzethecommonalities inartisticconceptsandcreative techniques between freehand landsape and Impressionist landscapeoil paintings in terms ofcolor,withtheexpectationof promoting a more comprehensive understanding and recognition of these two art forms.
