Abstract：Foralong time，sculptural creationhascenteredonvolumeand mass，whilecolorremainedamarginal，decorative element.With the developmentof modern visual culture and advances in material technology，color has transcended this subordinate roleand emergedas acorelanguagefor spatial intervention andthereconfigurationof sculptural form.This paper chalenges theconventional notion that"sculptureequals monochrome"bytracing theconceptualshiftfomtheclaical"myth of whiteness"tothe modernist emphasis on material authenticityDrawingon thepracticesof artistssuchasAnishKaporand AnthonyCaro，itexamines thedualfunctionofcolorasbothanaesthetic mediumandaformal device.Itargues thatthrough theinteractionofphysical propertiesand psychologicalperception，colorcandisolvematerialheavinessandreconstruct sculpturalnarrativelogic.Theawakeningofcolorlanguage thus marksakeytransition fromstaticobjecthoodtodynamic spatial experience.
