Abstract：Incurrentart designpractice，there existsatendencyincolorselectionthatemphasizes visualformover emotional transmissionSome designs onlyfocus onthevisualimpactandaesthetic matchingofcolors，butfailtodeeplyintegratecolors withthecoreemotions thatthedesignintends toexpressThismakesidifficultfortedesigntoresonateemotionallywithusers andalsopreventsitfromeffectivelyplayingtheroleofemotionaltransmissioninspecificscenarios，whichtoacertainxtent affects theoverallefectandpracticalvalueofthedesign.Basedothis practicalsituation，thisstudtakesemotionalasthetics as thecore perspective.Itfirst analyzes the importanceofoptimizing colorselectionbasedonemotional asthetics，and then furthersortsout thecolor selection strategies inartdesignbasedonemotionalaesthetics，aiming to provide practicalcolor selection methods for art design practitioners.
