Abstract: With the increasingly widespread application of new materials and advanced methods, structural integrity has become a critical factor affecting the operational safety of civil aircraft. In the phase of continued airworthiness, the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) serves as one of the essential means to maintain aircraft structural integrity. This paper presents a systematic study one the planning and development technology of SRM for civil aircraft, discussing the phase division of SRM development and the technical details involved in each stage. It also analyzes methodologies related to the selection of standards, content development, and validation processes. The study indicates that it is essential to development experiences from various aircraft models, to establish standardized and coordinated development guidelines and methods, and to enhance the practicality an effectiveness of SRM.
