Abstract: Coastal soft soil areas have a significant impact on the bearing performance of pile foundations due to their unfavorable engineering characteristics such as high water content, low strength and high compressibility. In order to explore the actual bearing capacity of belled piles piles in coastal soft soil area, this paper uses ABAQUS finite element analysis software combined with actual survey data in coastal soft soil area, so as to select appropriate pile-soil mechanical performance parameters and establish a single pile static load test model. Through staged loading simulation, data was extracted and load-settlement (Q-S) curves were drawn to analyze its bearing capacity. According to the results of finite element analysis, the influence laws of expanded disk pile parameters such as bell diameter, bell inclination slope angle, and bell number on the bearing capacity of the pile are explored, thus providing a basis for the optimal design of belled piles in coastal soft soil foundations.
