Abstract： To understand the species and distribution of Rubus medicinal plants in Simian Mountain in Chongqing City， and provide reference for the sustainable utilization of local Rubus medicinal plant resources. Guided by the technical specifications of the fourth national census of traditional Chinese medicine resources， the medicinal plant resources of Rubus in Simian Mountain were investigated， analyzed and studied through line survey， sample survey， inquiry， specimen collection and identification， and literature review. There are 43 species （including varieties） of Rubus plants distributed in Simian Mountain， of which 16 species have edible fruits， 8 species are extracted from tannin extracts， and 23 species are used for medicinal use. The seeds of a few species can be extracted from oil and the stems and skins are used as raw materials for papermaking， and young leaves can replace tea. The main resources of Rubus in Simian Mountain are rich and have high medicinal value. It is recommended to rationally develop and utilize Rubus， establish an ecological industrial chain， promote the integrated development of culture and tourism， and achieve the sustainable development of traditional Chinese medicine resources.
