Abstract: This paper aims to build a digital twin system for the Middle Route Project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project to improve the project's safety supervision capabilities, water resources allocation efficiency, and intelligent operation and management level, and provide technical support for the long-term sustainable development of the project. The research adopts a hierarchical architecture method to build a four-layer digital twin system including data layer, model layer, platform layer and application layer. Research has shown that digital twin technology is an effective means to transform the management model of large-scale water diversion projects, and the system built can significantly improve the safety, efficiency and intelligence level of project operations.
