The First Application of VGO Passivation in Sulfidation Process of Hydrocracking Catalysts in Domestic Facilities

Abstract: The II hydrocracking unit of Sinopec Jinling Company uses a mixture of Saudi light straight-run gas oil and coker gas oil as raw material to produce aviation kerosene, diesel, liquefied gas, light naphtha and heavy naphtha. During the startup process of the eighth cycle, VGO was directly used for passivation. During the temperature elevation process, due to the low amount of fresh feedstock and the low total nitrogen content in the raw material, the temperature of the third bed layer of the cracking reactor rose rapidly, but it had little impact on the later performance of the catalyst.

加氢裂化装置在使用新催化剂或再生后的催化剂的过程中,采用湿法硫化时需要注氨进行钝化,主要目的是通过降低催化剂内金属表面的活性,减少在开工初期可能发生的剧烈化学反应,如催化剂的过度还原、金属硫化物的过快形成等,这些反应若控制不当,极易引发设备腐蚀、催化剂失活等问题,进而威胁装置的安全运行[1-11]。(剩余7004字)
