Abstract: Based oncarbon cap-and-trade policies,this paper examines carbon emisionreduction strategies forbaterysuppliers within the closed-loop suply chainof power batteries,along with decision-making by individual members andsupplychain coordinationmechaniss.Consideringcasadeutltionitostructsmodelswherebaterysupplerseithrdootdueesio orreduce emissosuderdecentralizeddecison-making,aswellas models wheresuppliersreduceemissons ornotundercentralized decision-making.Resultsindicatethatcentralizedemissonreductiondecisions yieldoptimalcarbonreductionlevels,inversely proportionaltoinitialarboemisiosademissnreduconinvestmentotoefnts.esevelsfsticreas,tdeease andfinallyincreaseagain ascarbon trading prices rise.Carbon emission reductionbybaterysupplierscanincrease holesaleand retailprices,andmaximizeprofits.Comparedtodcentralizeddecisiomaing,centralizeddecisiomakingyieldshgherpofitsfor the suplychainanditsparticipants.However,undercarboncapconstraints,suppychaincoordinationandcooperationareachieved when battery suppliers reduce emissions and automakers share the cost of carbon reduction.
