Abstract：Agricultureisthefoundationof thecountry，andscientificandtechnological innovationistheinexhaustible driving forceto promotethe high-qualitydevelopmentofagriculture.Theconcept of new qualityproductivityhas importantguiding significance torealizethehigh-quality developmentofagriculture.Thisarticleisbasedonpaneldata from 30provinces （cities，districts）in China from 2O12 to 2022.By constructing acomprehensive indicator systemof digital newqualityproductivityandhighqualityagriculturaldevelopment，theentropyweightmethodisusedtomeasure it，andthebenchmark regresionmodelandmediationeffectmodelareused toempiricallyanalyzetheinherentlogicof digitalnewqualityproductivityonhigh-qualityagricultural development.Theresultsindicatethatfirstly，digital new qualityproductivitycansignificantlypromotehigh-qualityagriculturaldevelopment，andtheconclusionstillholdstrueafter robustnesstesting.Secondly，themediationefecttestshowsthatdigitalnewqualityproductivitycanpromote highquality agricultural development throughlandtransfer.Thirdly，theroleof digitalnewqualityproductivityinpromoting high-qualityagricultural developmentpresentsdiferent impactparadigmsintheeastern，central，andwesternregions，as wellasingrain productionandsalesareas.Specifically，theroleof digitalnewqualityproductivityisstronger inthe easternand westem regions as well as major grain producing areas.Therefore，it is necessary to furthercultivate new agricultural productivityand improvetheeficiencyof landresourcealocation toacelerate theconstructionofastrong agricultural country.
