Abstract:Tea shoot harvesting is themost labon-tensiveandcostly stage intea production,and the mechanizationof tea picking is thereforecrucialforenhancing thequalityandeficiencyofChina'steaindustry.Currently,mechanizationis feasibleforbulk tea harvesting,whilethefamousandhigualityteaismainly hanicked,facingthecontradictionbetween labor shortage and the growing demand for picking.With rapideconomic development and rising living standards,the demand forpremium tea production hasbeengrowing.However,this ischallenged by issessuchasrural hollowing-out, agricultural marginalization,andanaging farming population haveintensifed.Thesefactors haveledtoashortageof agricultural laborresourcesthat severely constrain the development of thepremium tea industry.Under these circumstances,replacing manual tea picking with machines hassignificant practical importance.Thispaper providesan overviewof research progressand thecurrntapplication statusof tea-harvestingrobots,introduces keytechnologiesfor teashoot recognition andpicking-point localization based on traditional image processing andmachine learning,dep learning,andsummarizes methodsofdetaching teashootsusingenffectors.Toaddress thechallenges facedbycurrent tea-harvesting robots,wesuggest that futureresearchanddevelopmentof inteligent tea-harvestingequipmentshould continue to focus onimproving field infrastructure,integrating mechanization with agronomic practices,optimizing vision algorithms,innovatinginteligentharvesting devices,andenhancingpickingeficiencyandquality.Sucheffortsare expected promote the high-quality and efficient development of the tea industry.
