Abstract:Inthe current tobacco baking process,manual braiding stillocupies a dominant position,however,this method has problemssuch as high labor intensity,low braiding eficiencyandetc.Moreover,the high-intensity physical laboriseasytocausebraiding errors,affecting theoverallqualityof tobaccoleaves.Tothisend,aninteligentcontrol system forautomatic tobacco makinganddeliverybased onFANUCrobotic armand PLCcontrol technologyis designed. The system uses PLC as the controlcore,combined with the FANUC robotic arm tutor to write the control program,to achievethe braidingpath planningandautomationof braiding,and through thePLCprocesscontroltocoordinate the synergisticoperationofvarious componentsof the system,tocomplete thewhole processof intelligentcontrolof tobacco leaves from the bulk loading,automatic tobaco braiding,and pole conveying to the baking room.Experiments have shown that the equipment can weave 4O bundles of tobacco at a time,weaving length of 1m ,a single weaving time of 3min ,compared with manual weaving,weaving speed increased to 4.5 sper root. While improving the braiding fficiency,itefectivelyreduces therateofbroken leavesandshanks,ensures the stabilityand eficiencyoftheproduction process,andreduces the influenceof human factors on the qualityof tobacco.Theresearch results show that the intelligentcontrolsystem iseasytooperateandcompactinstructure,itcansignificantlyreducethelaborintensityof tobaccofarmers,achievetheintegrationof tobaccobraidingandconveyingoperations,and efectively improve thequality of tobacco leaves and production efficiency.
