Abstract：Asan important oil crop，the level of mechanized productionandoperationqualityof peanuts areone of the importantfactorsaffectingtheeffectivesupplyof oilseedsandthewholeprocessandcomprehensive mechanizationof agricultural production.Inviewof thecurrentlow levelofpeanut mechanized production in Jiangsu province，this paper expounds the research achievements of peanut mechanized production，conductsa survey on the demand for peanut mechanized production technologyand equipment，analyzes the production situationof diferenttypes of entitiesand the demand for mechanizationof major links，and puts forward theproblemsexisting in mechanized productionof peanut. Basedon thecurrent level and development status of peanut mechanized production，thispaper predictsthe future development prospects of peanut mechanized sowing and harvesting，and puts forward the machine input and capital demandunderdiferent mechanizationlevels.Aftercalculation，whenthelevelofcomprehensivemechanizationis increased to 75% ，24.14 million yuan of capital needs to be invested in the seeding and harvesting links.When the level ofcomprehensive mechanization is increased to 80% ，41.62 million yuan of the capital needs to be invested in sowing and harvesting links.The suggestions forthedevelopmentof peanut mechanized productionareput forward fromthe aspects of selectionof peanutvarietiessuitable for mechanization，research onagricultural machineryandagronomic matching technology，large-scale promotion of the mechanization development，filing in thegaps to promote improvementand intellgentand green technique development，soastoprovidereferences fortheresearchanddevelopment，promotionand and application of peanut mechanized production machinery.
