Abstract：Blanket sedling transplantingandbowlseedling transplantingarethe dominating modes of mechanizedrice planting in China.The benefitsofbowlsedlingtransplanting arelower plant injuryandfastrejuvenation；however the drawbacks arecomplexityof breding，more laborcostand productioncost.Inorderto verifytheproduction and ncome growth potential of bowlseedling transplanting，comparative tests were carriedout in Xing'an countyof Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region，byChina Agricultural MechanizationCenter，MinistryofAgricultureandRural Afair toassess the technology ofconventional machine transplanting，machine broadcasting seedling，and bowl seedling transplanting.The experimentsindicatedthatsedling broadcastingmachineistechnologicallymature.theaverageyieldand incomeby machine broadcasting seedling increased by 772.8kg/hm2 and 830.8yuan/hm2 ，with increase rates of 13.6% and 15.2% （20 respectively，and lower injury rate of seedling saved 3-5 days for rice growth. Itis suggested that machine broadcasting seedlingcan bepromotedadapted tolocalconditions byupdating machinery performance，strengthening technology integration，exploring light and simplified cultivation techniques，and persistent assessment of field experiments.
