Abstract:Atrijuglans hetaohei isamajorpest infesting walnutfruits.Itslarvaefeedonthefruits，impairingtheiredible andcommercial values andcausing substantiallosses to walnut productionBased onyears of practical experience，theocurrencecharacteristics of Atrijuglanshetaohei aresummarized,and efectivecontrol measures areput forward bythis paperincluding planting walnut cultivars resistant toAtrijuglans hetaohei，trapping overwintering cocoons，cleaning orchards，tiling tree trays，preventing adult moth emergence,andeliminating adult moths，soas tocontrol thepestdamageand reduce production losses.
