Abstract：【Objective】Toinvestigate theresistance of different passion fruit rootstock varieties to stembaserot，and screenout yellow-fruitedpassonfruitrootstock varieties withgoodresistance.【Methods】Inthisresearch，fiveyellow-fruited passion fruit rootstock cultivars，namelythose originating from Germany，Brazil，Ecuador，AngolaandVietnam，wereusedas rootstocks andrespectively graftedonto thre scioncultivars：Tainong1，Balawi-flavored GoldenPassionFruit andMantianxing（Al-Star）.Thebiological traits，occurrenceofBSRandperformanceafter grafting withdifferent scioncultivarsof these five rootstocks were systematicallinvestigated and compared.【Results】The survey results indicated thatthere were significantdiffrences amongthefiveyellow-fruited passionfruit rootstocks interms ofbiologicaltraitsandresistanceto BSR：the Vietnamese yelow-fruited rootstock showed relatively strong resistance，with a disease incidence of 10.45% ，while the Brazilianyellw-fruitedrootstock hadrelativelyweakresistance，andthediseaseincidenceof theotherfouryellow-fruitedrootstocks was approximately 20% . 【Conclusion】 Under the conditions of greenhouse cultivation and management in Qinzhou area，the Vietnamese yelow-fruited passionfruit rootstock demonstrates good disease resistance to BSR and thus has goodapplication value as a grafting rootstock for passion fruit production.
