Risk factors and predictive model for infection after robot-assisted percutaneous screw fixation in patients with pelvic fractures

AbstractObective：Toivestigateteskfactorsforsrgicalsiteifectioafterobotasistedpercutaneussrewfiationinpats withpelvicfracturesandtoconstructanomogrampredictionmodel.Methods：97patientswhounderwentobotasistedpercutaneous screwfixationattheFirstAfiliatedHospitalofAirForceMedicalUniversityfromOctober2OtoMarch023wereenoledThey weredivided into the infection group（ n =41）and the non-infection group（ n=56 based on the occurrence of postoperative infection. MultivariateLgisticegressionanalyssasusedtoidentifyiskfactorsforposoperatieinfectionandtoconstructaprdictiveodel. Thepredictiveacuracyandclinicalutilityof themodelwereevaluated.Results：Atotalof41strainsofpathogens wereisolated frompatientsitooailtaocseicolloocddisd aeruginosa.Multivaatealsisdtatjuryeityore（S），oncoitantraticainjurycablarcre and abdominal injury were risk factors for postoperative infection inpatients with pelvic fractures （ P <0.05）.A predictivemodel was constructedbasedontheseiskfactors，andteareaunderthereceiveroperatingcharacteristiccueasO97（95%C：09400） Thecalibrationcurvewasclosetotheidealcurve，indicatinggooddiscriminativeabilityandclinicaleficacyofthemodel.Further decision curve analysis showed that when the risk threshold predicted by the model was >0.05 ，it could provide a net clinical benefit.

Conclusion：BMI，SSsore，concomitanttraumaticbaininjuryacetabularfracture，andabdominalinjuryareriskfctorsfor postoperativeinfection inpatients withpelvicfractures.Thenomogramodelconstructedbasedonthesefactorscanprovideanintuitive visualization tool for early clinical assessment of infection risk after pelvic fracture surgery.
