Safety analysis of robot-assisted stereotactic craniotomies for hematoma puncture and drainage in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage

AbstractObjective:To evaluate the safetyof robot-assted stereotactic hematoma punctureand drainage inthetreatmentof hypertensive intracerebralhemorrhage (HCH),andtasssitsimpactonpunctureaccuracyndcomplicationates.Metods:35 HICHpatientstreatedwithconventionalcuboidframelocalizationatthePeople’sHospitalofRugaofromAugust2O23toAugst2024 wereenrolledanddiviedntotconvenalgoupnoter35HCHpatintshounderwetobotsistedtereotacticavigation surgeryfromSeptember024toSeptember225wereincudedintotherobot-asistedgroup.Surgicalduration,hmatomadaiagetie, postoperatiehfiaoatiodoscecdacec comparedbetwenthetwogoups.Postoperative24-hourhematomaclearancerate,incidenceofomplication,andlong-termoucomes (6-monthmortalitynddisabiltates)werealsoevaluated.Glasgowomacale(C)scoeswereasesedbforesurgeryar surgeryand3daysaftersurgery.Results:Comparedtotheconventional group,therobot-asisted groupshowedsignficantlyshorter surgicalduratio,matoadainagetiostoperatiecoerytindlngthfospitalstaylongithduceditatie blood loss ( P <0.05).Puncture accuracy,hematoma puncture satisfaction,and 24-hour hematoma clearance rate were significantly higher in the robot-assisted group than the conventional group ( P <0.05).GCS scores on postoperative day1 and day3 were significantly higher in the robot-assisted group than the conventional group ( P <0.05). The total complication rate was significantly lowerin the robotassisted group than the conventional group ( 5.71% Us. 22.86% , P <0.05). Although the robot-assisted group showed higher survival rate andlowerdisabilityrateat6monthsaftersurgerythantheconventional group,thediferenceswerenotstatisticallysignificant( P> 0.05). Conclusion:Robot-asistedstereotacticematomapuncturenddrainageisasafeandefectiveapproachforHCHtreatment.Itcan significantly improve puncture accuracy and patient outcomes,thereby enhancing treatment safety.
