Abstract: Objectire To evaluate the application and efectiveness of a dual-track teaching mode of BOPPPS + virtual simulation in“Comprehensive Nursing Training".Methods Nursing undergraduate students from the class of 2O2l from a medical collge in Sichuan Province were selected as research objects. The experimental group (n=138) received the dual-track teaching mode of BOPPPS + virtual simulation,while the control group (n=124 )received traditional teaching methods. Formative assessment scores,summative skills assssment scores, and teaching method evaluations were compared between the two groups. Results Students in the experimental group achieved significantly higher scores than the control group in both formative and summative skills assessments (P<0.01 ). Both groups perceived the course design as reasonable after teaching.However,the experimental group demonstrated significantly greater improvements than the control group in clarifying learning objectives,stimulating learning interest,enhancing leaming initiative, increasing classroom participation,developing experimental operation skils, improving clinical thinking skills,strengthening clinical adaptability,boosting leaming eficiency,and systematically mastering knowledge ( P<0.05 ).Conclusion The dual-track teaching mode of“BOPPPS + virtual simulation”effectively enhances teaching quality and learning outcomes in Comprehensive Nursing Training course.
