Research Hotspots and Evolution Analysis of Applying Artificial Intelligence inInternational Education

Abstract: Objectirve To analyze the research hotspots and emerging trends of applying artificial intellgence (AI) in international education through a bibliometric approach. Methods Data was colected from the Web of Science Core Collection and CiteSpace 6.4.1 was employed for visual analysis of related literature in the field of applying AI in education. Results A total of l97O papers were selected in this study. The number of publications in this field showed a significant upward trend,which reaching its peak in 2O24.The country with the highest number of publications is China,while the United States has a stronger international influence.The research hotspots mainly focused on the design of inteligent teaching platforms,artificial intelligence assisted teaching evaluation and so on. The research evolution could be divided into two periods: the establishment of intelligent teaching platform,and the optimization and improvement of intelligent teaching system and impact evaluation.Conclusion The application of AI in the field of international education has been widely studied,and the current research hotspots mainly included the construction of intellgent teaching platforms,the design of teaching content,the development of learming assessment systems,and personalized teaching.At present,it has developed from the establishment of inteligent teaching platform to the stage of specific subject application and optimization improvement.
