Abstract：Amidthepursuitofhigh-qualitydevelopment，theportandshippingindustryisadvancingtoward deper internationalisation，digitalisation and modernisation.Yet the cultivation of highly skilled professionalsis constrained byvague training standards，graduates’limited workplace competenceand anacute shortage of expert instructors.To address these challenges，the Port and Shipping programme at Shenzhen Polytechnic University has undertaken a thorough exploration of innovative industry-education integration. Fromthree vantage points-building an integrated industry-finance education mechanism，iteratively refiningcompetency benchmarksand forgingaunified education-and-training system-the programme articulates themechanisms and pathways through which thisintegration empowers vocational training for advanced port and shipping personnel.The initiative has alreadyyielded interimgains in talent quality and disciplinary development;the next phase should concentrate on integration model optimization，enriching the training system of vocational undergraduate and postgraduate and expanding tangible platforms for universityenterprisecollaboration.
