Research on the Impact of Digital Technology Application in Shenzhen Enterprises on New Quality Productivity

Abstract：This paper takes the Shanghai and Shenzhen A-sharelistedcompanies from 20l1to 2022as the research object and explores the impact of digital technology application oninew quality productivity from boththeoretical and empirical perspectives.Theresearch finds that the applicationof digital technology by Shenzhen enterprises significantly promotes the development of new quality productivity.Besides the directimpact，it alsoenhances new qualityproductivity through indirect paths such as promoting exploratory innovation and alleviating financing constraints of enterprises.Further heterogeneity analysis reveals thatthe driving effect of digital technology application on new quality productivity varies by ownership andindustryatthecurrent stage.Amongthem，the technology empowerment effectis moreprominent innonstate-owned enterprisesand non-manufacturing enterprises.
