Abstract:This paper focuses on the energy eficiency optimization mechanismof replacing traditional IGBT modules withthird-generation semiconductor silicon carbide (SiC) power devices inarc welding equipment.Through comparative analysisofmaterialcharacteristics,ucturaltopologyoptimzation,theralanagementdesignndconomicealuation the studyverifiestheremarkableadvantagesofSiCdevices inhigh-frequencyoperation,low-lossperformance,and high power density.Experimental results demonstrate that the efciencyof inverter welding machines equipped with SiC has been increased to over 90% ,thepowerdensity hasbeenraised by 40% ,and the overall energy consumption has been reduced by 17% .These findings provide theoretical and technical support for the green transformation of the welding equipment industry.
